Classes

TN_05_04_5335w.jpgEvery Monday, we provide free Sign language courses. American Sign Language (ASL) is taught. The classes are held at our Van Nuys site, located at 14547 Gilmore St.in Van Nuys. Classes start promptly at 6:30pm and end at 7:15pm. The class just completed the first eight chapters from the book, "The Joy of Signing." Anyone can participate at any time, since we constantly review previous lessons. The class is fun, interacting, and fast moving. Starting June 2nd, 2008, for those interested, I will be teaching how to interpret a song, "You Raise Me Up," by Josh Groban. This will add an additional 20 minuted to the class. The goal is to interpret, while a hula company dances to the music. If interested in learning to interpret music only, that is fine. Enrollment is limited so if you are interested, please email Tim Boydstun at tim@willieross.org.
